We provide a useful guide to help you plan your move, available at no cost by request. Along with detailed information about our services available, there is a helpful "Daily Planning Guide," which details what steps you should be taking before your move. For example:
- Four weeks before moving: File a change of address form with the Post Office.
- Three weeks before moving: Sketch out the floor plan of your new home to determine placement of furnishings.
- Two weeks before moving: Make travel accommodations for your trip to your destination and have your car serviced, if you are driving.
- One week before moving: Determine which items you're taking with you and pack these items, setting them aside in a designated area.
- One day before moving: Defrost, clean and dry refrigerator.
